Tresten Tough

On August 11,2021 my 16 year old cousin Tresten was in an ATV accident. He hit a brick apartment building, resulting in a Traumatic Brain Injury. He was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital. He spent 3 1/2 weeks on life support. He had major brain swelling and a brain bleed. He is now off life support but is unable to eat so had to have a feed tube put in his stomach today after 3 failed swallowing tests. Tresten is being raised My Mike and Linda McClung along with his 2 younger brothers. Mike and Linda are there legal guardians.

As of yesterday the out of pocket expense for all the medical bills is about $11,000 and climbing. Trestens doctors are hopeful that he will be in good enough medical condition to begin his rehab process. Tresten will be going to a rehab facility for children in Columbus Ohio.

Linda has not left Tresten side. She said "He needs to know that I love him and that i am here for him. I will not leave his side." and she has not!! We have been ordering her food and having it sent to her. We also have relatives in Morgantown that have been cooking her meals and bringing them to her. Unfortunately once Tresten is transferred to Columbus Ohio, we wont be able to have people bring her meals.

We are making this go Fund me to help cover the out of pocket expenses that Mike and Linda are facing.

They have been raising Tresten since he was 4 years old.
