Trent Hammersmith's Rehabilitation Fund
Donation protected
Trent Hammersmith was involved in a car accident on June 8th. He escaped the crash with no injuries and helped the people in his truck get to safety. When another car approached, he waved them off to warn of downed wires at the scene. Unfortunately, he came in contact with a live wire and was electrocuted. He was revived at the scene but was in cardiac arrest for several minutes and suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). He was in the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center for almost a month and is now at the Kennedy Krieger Institute for rehabilitation. TBI recovery is a marathon and Trent has a long road ahead of him.
We are raising funds to help Trent’s father, Kevin Hammersmith, with the cost of his on-going rehabilitation. He will require a tremendous amount of special equipment that is very costly to aid in his care and recovery. We appreciate your prayers and support to help him get back. #trentstrong
