Trees for Guatemala
Donation protected
We are the Yarmouth High School Interact Club, a service club affiliated with Rotary International. Every year Interact Clubs are asked to complete one local and one international project. This year our club has decided to be more hands-on with our international project. We are traveling to Guatemala over our April vacation to help plant trees there as part of a reforestation project. This is just one part of a 12 step process to help contain and eliminate the pollution in the lake and make it more livable for residents. The residents use the lake for drinking, cleaning, cooking, bathing, farming, and many more things. Our goal is to raise $10,000 so that we can buy trees to plant when we arrive in Guatemala.
