Tree Removal at Mom's house

My name is Joanie Ware. This request is being created to raise money to remove a tree in my mom & step-dad's front yard. I am afraid the tree is going to fall on their house!
I need to give you some history about this tree....it concerns my mom and her mom and me....and the prayer we prayed when we first found out that my mom was diagnosed with cancer in 1973...
At that time, Mom and Bill had a small child, my brother Mike. The doctor diagnosed Mom with cancer and said she most likely would only have about 6 more weeks to live. They performed a hysterectomy but did not expect her to survive. Most everyone in my family believes in prayer and healing, so it was no surprise when relatives began praying for my mom. I remember one instance specifically when my mom and her mom (my Grandma Golden Rothwell) got together to pray for my mom. We strongly believe that when 2 or more are gathered together in His name, He listens!
Grandma and I did not want to lose her! Bill did not want to lose her! We also did not want Bill to have to raise Mike by himself! Grandma and I prayed that God would heal my mom; we prayed that God would take that cancer and give it to the tree. I don't know why we prayed it that way, but I believe it worked. My mom is still alive today, (THANK YOU JESUS!) but the tree is in pretty bad shape! It has continued to deteriorate year after year, and now I'm afraid it will fall on their house!
Mom & Bill are both retired and on fixed income. And so are my husband and myself. So the money just isn't there to remove the tree.
