Tree fell on car. Only transportation he had

My name is misty. I am the mom of a 20 year old young man who,at the age of 18 went out gained full time employment.  He has had a fascination with cars since he was young. He ended up purchasing a 2011 Chevy cruze.on his own with no help from anyone. He is very mature and didn't ask for help from anyone. His car was his baby. He had done so much to his car to make it better than it was. Well today nov.15 he and his girlfriend got in the car to leave to go on a date. Just as they got the doors closed a massive tree fell on top of the car. They both seem to be okay, but the car,not so much.  If I had the money to help him I would in a second.
