Treatment for Kobe Yukelson

Recently, we found out that our beautiful, sweet, loving golden retriever was diagnosed with Lymphoma. To say this news was devastating is an understatement. Kobe is a lot of things, and if you know him or have met him, you know how special he is. He isn’t your typical dog, he is the most amazing dog on the planet. Kobe has been with Josh for 8 years and has been his best friend since. They are inseparable. We recently found out the price of chemotherapy and we have been doing everything we can to figure this out. We just aren’t ready to let him go yet. Unfortunately, our oncologist is in Philly so we have been traveling back and forth for his treatment. The oncologist told us that his bloodwork looked good, and he would be a good candidate for chemo, which was great news. Right about when we started to see the light at the end of the tunnel, Kobe became really sick and has been for the last few days. Today, we found out that he has an infected lymph node and may require surgery, which must be done before we start chemo. We don’t want anyone to feel obligated to donate, but we would greatly appreciate anything anyone could do to help us make this sweet boy better. We love and appreciate all of you!
