Teacher Awol

As some of you may have heard today Teacher Awol passed away a couple of days ago. I was extremely sad to learn that a teacher who has made such a big impact in my high school experience at Nazareth is no longer with us. I know a lot of you feel the same way which is why this gofundme is created so that money raised can help support his children who are still in school. Teacher Awol has taught at Nazareth for 30+ years. Let us now let his family know what he has meant to us.

"Nazareth School and Awol are synonymous in my book, you could not have one without the other. Like many of the teachers we had the pleasure of knowing and also unlike them, Awol was jovial, interesting, funny and among others an amazing narrator. Whether it be by calling girls "Anchi ashebari" or making sure every historical fact was chiseled into our brains, there was never a dull moment in his class. He was a comical breath of fresh air to all those who knew him.

I am saddened by his death and even more saddened by the fact that he leaves behind him kids who had yet to share in his amazing charisma. Please consider contributing whatever you can, it is the least we can do."
