Travis Wilson’s Children

Donation protected
On December 28th, my brother Travis Wilson was taken to the ER at Queens Medical Center in Hawaii after suffering an aortic rupture. Doctors did everything they could to save his life including performing an 11-hour surgery to repair his aorta. He survived the surgery, but his doctors discovered that because of the aortic rupture his brain had been deprived of oxygen for so long that he suffered irreversible brain damage.

We had to come to terms with the fact that Travis was no longer Travis and the only things keeping him alive were machines and our hopes that a miracle would happen. A miracle did not happen. On January 4th, those closest to him made the incredibly difficult decision to take him off of life support. He died within minutes.

As heartbreaking as losing him at only 40 years old is, we are even more devastated because he leaves behind his significant other, their 2-year-old son and their 6-year-old daughter. Like so many people, my brother lived paycheck to paycheck and supported his children and the mother of his children by working. His sudden death leaves his family in dire straits both emotionally and financially. There isn’t even enough money to pay next month’s rent.

We will do everything that we can to help my brother’s family, but we humbly ask for your support to help them financially. Please donate whatever you can and if that’s not a possibility, please share this with others. Thank you so much.
