Travis Garrett Urgent Heart Surgery

I'm asking for help for my son, who needs urgent heart surgery. He is a loving husband, LEO, and father to two beautiful little girls. He was diagnosed in December as needing a new aortic valve, as the current one is not functioning as it should.
According to the doctors, it is as severe as it gets. On a scale from 1-4, 4 being the worst, he is currently at a 4. He gets very tired and easily out of breath, due to the valve not opening up all the way and the blood backing up into his lungs. The surgeon has said that this is a medical necessity needing to be done as soon as possible. Just normal every day things, he gets out of breath. He is currently having to sleep in a chair, because when he lays down in bed or flat, his heart raises and he gets very short of breath.
He had open heart surgery in 2004, due to a life threatening aortic aneurysm, and had the aortic valve replaced. The first surgery was very complicated and was sent to Houston, as no surgeon here in Amarillo would perform that surgery. Right now it is really unsure if he will be having another open heart surgery or a new procedure called a TAVR. Insurance is not approving a CT scan that he is needing that will be sent to the valve clinic to see if he is a candidate for the TAVR. This is something that we can't wait on because his condition and symptoms are getting worse. Him and his wife are fighting daily with insurance and the surgeon is doing whatever he can do as well.
The doctor has put him on very strict restrictions, so he may not return back to work until after the valve is replaced. He is currently on leave without pay and is possibly in jeopardy of losing his job. Losing his job would also mean that he would not have insurance. We are trying to keep our faith strong and our eyes on the Lord, as He has always provided for our family. And we know that He will come through for us this time as well.
