Traveling expenses for the Brantley-Manley Family

Recently my friend Ben was diagnosed with T-cell lymphoma, a form of cancer. He went to the hospital after bumps were appearing on his skin. After a couple days of tests, the doctors gave him his diagnosis.

Ben is truly one of the kindest people I know. Even after receiving his diagnosis, he saw the good in the situation. They used photos from his test to show other doctors that the bumps are cancer symptoms. Ben said, “If you ask me it’s worth going through a little rough patch if that means you can help future patients.” That’s just the guy he is. And that’s why I want to help.

He is currently with his wife at the Navy hospital in Norfolk, Virginia where he is taking steps to start chemo. Virginia is a bit far from home and that’s what this fundraiser is for. I want Ben and his family to just focus on him getting better and supporting him. The traveling, eating, and housing are going to add up quickly over the course of his treatment, so every bit will help.
