Expenses for Allie and Barb

On October 23rd Jessica Smallwood was driving with her best friend up to Windfield for a surprise family visit. Their journey ended in a terrible car accident. Her friend survived with extensive injuries, but tragically Jessica passed away in the early morning of Oct 24th in the hospital. She never made it to see her family.

Jess was 29 years old and had a unique, enormous love of life and endless affection for the people around her. She is survived by her mom, Barb Houston, sister, Alexandra Smallwood and grandma, Jean Houston.  She is missed by a huge circle of people across Canada who knew her, loved her and were constantly inspired and supported by her creative spirit.

We are hoping to raise money for Jessica's celebration of life for her family and friends in Kelowna. We also need support for Jess's mom and sisters travel expenses to Montreal for them to pack her belongings, retrieve her pets and have closure with family and friends. Other expenses we are trying to assist with include; funeral home services, memorial expenses and taking time off work during this difficult time.
