Celebration of life for Cody and care for Cherise

On Wednesday, August 14th, we tragically lost our dear friend Cody. He was paragliding just outside of Lone Pine and suffered a fatal crash. If you knew Cody at all, you knew that he lived every moment to the absolute fullest. He was the most positive and adventurous person most of us have known. He had this uncanny ability to turn even the most simple days into epic adventures and the most epic adventures into the most attainable dreams.
He leaves behind his family, friends, adventure dog Astro and his incredible wife, Cherise. We believe the burden of this process is something we should carry together and do everything in our power to make this awful season as manageable as possible. We would love to gather as a community, church and lovers of adventure to show Cherise that she is not alone. There are many expenses coming her way. We want to make sure she has coverage large enough to focus on what matters most-remembering Cody and continuing the dream they shared of changing people's lives through the love of God and the joy of adventure. We are planning a celebration of life Labor Day Weekend in Mammoth lakes and will share details as they become available.
A note from Cherise about Cody-
"I miss you more than words can describe, and I don’t know how I’m going to do life without you, but I will. I will because you have empowered me over the last decade to be strong and independent, how to love unconditionally and live life to the absolute very fullest."
