Transportation to UCSF Hospital

Hello my name is Gemma. I am 44 years old with two wonderful children. Unfortunately one morning in October 2022 I woke up to aching in my groin area & within 3 days I was hunched over walking with a Cain. A 14 inch tumor & a 6inch tumor was found discovered. The 14inch tumor was wrapped around my back and destroyed my left ovary. The 6 inch tumor was found in my colon. I had no reaction I just felt numb & my kids & the treatment options. I mean what particular emotion am I supposed to feel when a Dr tell you I’m sorry but you are stage 4 Colon cancer? You are handing your life in professionals hands to beat this nightmare. My first surgery was in November 2022 the 14 inch mass via cesarean section due to being the size of a newborn and my second surgery was in January 2023 that was for a bowel resection & After 6 hours the 6 inch mass was removed. Chemo is for two years. UCSF is about two hours from my house & I am asking for help with gas for transportation. That’s my big obstacle right now. I hope to one day gain my independence back.
