Hello Friends and Family,
Last week my little family got stranded on I-80 heading up to Tahoe for a school field trip. We were hoping for a simple repair but instead found out that our transmission needs to be replaced. The good news is the car is in the care and repair of a trusted family friend (his auto shop), but it's going to cost right around $4,000.
We have savings that will allow us to put $1,500 toward the repair but we need help with the remaining $2,500. I have set this campaign to $3,000 to cover the rest of the repair and any additional fees on this campaign.
As of right now, we're borrowing family cars to get to work and take kids to school. We'll continue to do this until we're able to afford the repair.
