Transforming families

Sons and daughters was founded by Eric and Marina Fowlkes in 2009. Through years of foster care and juvenile services, the Fowlkes desired to see family households transformed through biblical lessons, children’s conferences, and resource services.

Marina struggled in her own parenting, despite her certified training, so she began to ask God for heavenly wisdom. She found herself angry at conventional parenting methods that bore no fruit, she begin to write principles taken from the Bible.

Marina would like to see families restored and having fruitful relationships.

Eric’s experience with young boys through the juvenile system, caused him to reflect on their needs outside of the system. Eric‘s desire is to provide resources for boys aging out of foster care and boys transitioning out of the system back into society.

Together they are working to change the way families raise their children up in the Lord and care for the mother and fatherless.
