This has been one roller coaster of a year full of ups, downs, and loops when it comes to searching for what God is actually calling me to do. Now, I look no further. With your generosity, I'll be able to reach my financial goal of $2,000 before January 2021 to make this possible. I have already applied to a six month internship at a church that I've been dreaming to be a part of for the past year now. Check out my application video I submitted by clicking the following link. Transformation Church is located in Tulsa, OK, which is a 10 hour drive from where I live.
It feels insane going there not knowing where I'll live or if I'll even have the funds to pay for living on top of attending the internship. The cost of tuition to enroll is $1,000, but I'll need $300 of the $1,000 upon acceptance (which could be within the next month or so) just to solidify a spot, due to the high demand of people enrolling. I hope I'll have another $1,000 just to hold me over for living expenses like food, transportation, and shelter. I'm sad because my car will have to stay behind because it's too high in mileage :-(
In the face of these obstacles, I fear not, because I have faith that the Lord my God will pull all the necessary strings to make a way out of no way because that's the type of God I serve. A part of one of my favorite verses says, "......the Lord your God is with you; you have lacked nothing." (Deut. 2:7) So with that being true, I am crowned with confidence to humbly ask for your help.
This will not only satisfy my grand desire of being a part of Transformation Church, but this will also be beneficial to my service toward my own community when I return back to Kankakee county. I plan on giving back to the youth along with encouraging/motivating lost/found and/or hurting souls. I'll also be better equipped to serve my family and friends on a higher level than what I already am.
I greatly appreciate you taking the time to read and let alone consider this and I thank all of the kind souls, in advance, who choose to pray for me and/or give a donation to help a brother out with his pilgrimage of progressing the kingdom of God.
