Transformando vidas: Madeleine, Moisés, Jeyson...

Hola, me llamo Maria Alejandra y estoy convencida de que con la preparación, formación o educación se pueden logran grandes cambios en la vida. Madeleine, Moisés, Jeyson, Maryklares y Joel son cinco jóvenes de las montañas de Penonomé, en Panamá y que aunque han pasado por situaciones difíciles nunca dejaron de soñar con alcanzar sus metas, esforzándose mucho, siendo constantes y creyendo en ellos mismos. No tener luz eléctrica o internet, tener que caminar a sus casas porque no hay transporte hasta ellas, vivir situaciones familiares y económicas difíciles, nada de eso los detuvo. Por el contrario, los cinco sobresalieron en sus grupos durante toda su vida estudiantil.

Este año concursaron para ganarse una becas de estudios universitarios otorgadas por el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores de Rumanía y otras por el gobierno de Turquía. Miles de jóvenes de todo el mundo concursaron y ellos cinco salieron favorecidos. Pero esta beca no cubre todos los gastos y ellos no pueden pagarlo tampoco. Es por esto por lo que necesitamos tu ayuda.

Moisés estudiará en la Universidad Politécnica de Bucarest la carrera de Ingeniería Biomédica; Madeleine estudiará Kinetoterapia y lo hará en la Universidad Nacional de Educación Física y Deporte de Bucarest; Jeyson estudiará Informática y Tecnología de la Información en la Universidad de Bucarest: Maryklare lo hará en Izmir, Turquía y estudiará International Trade y Joel se convertirá en experto de Hospitality y Turismo. La beca cubre la mayoría de los gastos, pero deben pagar sus trámites de documentos, pasaporte, visa, pasajes aéreos, maletas, gastos generales, y otros que se les hace imposible sufragar. Les agradecemos toda su ayuda, por pequeña que sea, ya que para ellos no es únicamente el logro de sus metas de estudios, más que eso... será un aporte a sus sueños de transformar sus vidas por completo. Hello, my name is Maria Alejandra and I believe that great changes in life can be achieved with preparation, training, and education. Madeleine, Moises and Jayson are three young students that live in the mountains of Penonome, Panama. Although they have gone through difficult situations, they never stopped dreaming of reaching their goals. They continued trying hard, being constant and believing in themselves. Not having electricity or internet, walking with no means of transportation, and economic hardships are just some of the difficulties they face. Living this way has not stopped them from dreaming. On the contrary, all three of them excelled in their groups throughout their student lives.

This year, they competed amongst thousands of students around the world for a scholarship given by the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. All three of them won scholarships to go to university. This scholarship however, does not cover all their necessary expenses. That’s why we need your help.

Moisés will study Biomedical Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest; Madeleine will study Kinetotherapy and Biology at the National University of Physical Education and Sport in Bucharest and Jeyson will study Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Bucharest. The scholarship covers most of the expenses, but they must pay for their document procedures, passport, visa, air tickets, luggage, general expenses, and other necessities that are impossible for them to afford. We appreciate all your help, however small, since for them it is not only the achievement of their study goals, it is more than that... it will be a contribution to their dreams that will completely transform their lives.
