Janet and Stuart Ferrell

Hello everyone and thank you for taking time to read about this kind hearted, good spirited, God loving couple. We have created this page on behalf of Janet and Stuart Ferrell in hopes of helping with costs of their moving and medical expenses. Their story is right out of a book....Janet and Stuart worked side by side together for 30 years. Both had been in relationships over those years, neither had found their "forever".  Finally, they were both single at the same time and it dawned on them that the "one" they were searching for all those years, was right under the same roof 5 days a week! They fell in love and married in a beautiful wedding a few short years ago and expected their lives to be filled with happily ever after. Unfortunely, Stuart was diagnosed with cancer about a year into their marriage and so began the never ending fight to stop the progression of this terrible disease. They are now in the process of downsizing  so that they can be closer to family and also have a more suitable layout for them as their previous home was two story model and doesn't suite them well. This move is SO important for them as  they have recently been told there is nothing more that can be done  to try and stop the progression of this terrible disease. It is a very aggressive cancer and is rapidly spreading. When we heard this, we wanted to try and ensure that they didn't have to worry so much about how they were going to pay their bills and focus on enjoying what time they have together. They have never asked for anything, as they are humble and when approached about this, the response was "but there are so many people in need". We want to show this couple that they are loved and they are supported by the community. They are  always filled with smiles and positive thoughts and have accepted that  "It is in God's hands". It is our hope that we  are able to raise at least the amount needed to help them move, but anything else would be wonderful as cancer treatments are so very costly and I know that it will help relieve some of the burden the horrible disease has created for this amazing couple.
