Assistance is needed for funeral expenses and loss of all personal properties for Jacquelyn (Jackie) Scott Whigham, age 67, and her daughter, Zsaquez.
Jackie tragically passed away due to smoke inhalation which was caused by a fire at her home near Atlanta, Georgia on October 15, 2020. Zsaquez, her daughter, lived with her but was not home when the fire occurred. Their Townhouse and its contents were a total loss. Zsaquez is temporarily living with her older brother and his wife and needs assistance in making a new start.
"According to fire officials, the female victim was found in the home shortly after 8:20 p.m. after a neighbor called 911. Gwinnett County firefighters arrived and found the woman in her late 60’s in an upstairs bedroom.
Flames were seen coming from the second floor of a center townhome unit in a triplex building, according to a witness. Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the upstairs bedroom on the front-left corner of the townhouse. According to investigators, the home suffered extensive smoke and water damage. No other injuries were reported."

Jackie leaves behind a loving and dedicated son, Kelvin (Rachel), daughter Zsaquez, four grandchildren, and four siblings, John (Melva) Scott, LaRuth (Charles) Shepherd, Voncile (James) Cunningham, and Katrina Scott.
