Tragic AirPod pro incident

Hello,
I would like to inform whoever is reading this of the horrible incident that occurred while I was wearing my new AirPod pros yesterday. After my long day of labs, work, and classes I was headed off campus to get to my car and drive home. I figured why not put in my new pods, listen to music and make the 20 minute walk enjoyable. I walked through a tunnel and on my last few steps out of the tunnel I twisted my ankle. Not bad I kept going determined to make it to my car to start my 4 and a half hour drive home. I start walking across the bridge above the Allegheny river. Weathers nice, my pace is good, and the sun is out. All of a sudden my right AirPod feels loose and slowly falls out of my ear. Unfortunately for me I have cat like reflexes. My arm shot up to catch it, but my hand was occupied with my phone. The AirPod slammed into my phone, pinged off of it, went straight into the air over the side of the bridge and started its fall into the river. As I stood there jaw dropped and eyes wide I couldn’t help but laugh at the fact that that just happened. What could have possibly went wrong, went wrong. I almost jumped off to try to save it, believe me, but the force of gravity, -9.81 m/s^2, pulled that AirPod down faster than I could even comprehend what just happened. Plus I probably would have died if I jumped so I guess it was for the better. Now before you think to yourself it only fell out bc I didn’t have the right size ear piece, you are incorrect. I tried all sizes on and decided the small fit was the only one that kept the pods in my ear, well I guess not 100% of the time. Usually I would admit if it was my fault for losing the AirPod but I had no control over it falling out of my ear and into the river. Unfortunately insurance doesn’t cover incidents like this. Anything will help this poor now sad college student out. And if you don’t want to do this for me, think about how lonely that left AirPod pro probably is in the case without its other half.
