Traceyann and Avery rebuilding their lives

Donation protected
On Friday, April 24th our friend Traceyann and her son, Avery, lost everything they had in a tragic fire.  Avery is a beloved student at PS 372- The Children's School at the Adelphi Street Campus.  Traceyann is a loving single mother of a special needs child who juggles several jobs and goes to school full time just to make a better life for she and her son. Because of the COVID-19 she has not had work as her employers are not operating.  Red Cross was able to provide her with temporary accommodations through the end of May.   However, they need to rebuild their entire life and will need to find and furnish a new home. It has been especially difficult as  they are navigating this in a pandemic. Avery has autism and thrives in a safe and nurturing environment with predictability, routine, and structure. We are asking for your help  to get her into a home for her and her son and for them to recieve additional support. We would love any size donations and appreciate your generosity.

If anyone has any resources or information about available 2-bedroom apartments in Brooklyn please email Traceyann at [email redacted].
