Need Help Escaping Domestic Abuse

My name is Nadia and I suffer from a chronic injury that makes holding a job impossible. Currently, I am sheltered in a house that my father owns but one which he also uses to abuse me. This isn’t anything new as he’s been this way my entire life. I managed to escape for about 7 years but due to debt and medical emergencies I have not been able to work. Disability barely covers food each month. I could be okay with all of that if I didn’t have my father’s abuse to deal with.

Since he is the legal owner of this home and is aware of my disability and financial situation (meaning I can’t leave or get away from him) he takes advantage of this every chance he gets. There are constant threats of eviction, starvation, and being homeless.

In order to move out and also get as far away from him as possible (so he won’t know my location or contact information to continue this abuse) I desperately need funding to secure housing far from where I am now.

Five thousand dollars could get me a security deposit on a new apartment in a completely different state than he is located. It will also accommodate me to travel to that state. Once I have the deposit and first months rent I can go into establishing everything else I need. A new phone, setting up my disability to my new location, pay for food, utilities, gas, and car insurance until I’m established in that state.

I wouldn’t normally be turning to this type of crowd funding for help but I am desperate. The situation is taking a toll on me and pushing me closer and closer to a nervous breakdown every day. I’m a student I intend to get a degree and better job but in the interim I need help. Any help that anyone is willing to offer. Please get me out of here. It would mean the world to me.
