My name is Nathan Vann. I am privileged to be the uncle to several nieces and nephews. Sadly, one of my nephews, Robert Douglas Thacker (3 months), has suffered significant brain truma, and is passing away.
The mother, my sister, is Bethany Vann. She is the only source of income for herself and her other two children. Our parents, Bobby and Diane Vann, have taken over responsibility of the two children, William and Riley Thacker (3 months and 2 years respectively).
Presently, Bethany has not been able to work due to Rob being in the hospital for so many days and will likely not be able to return to work for some time. Additionally, our parents aren't capable of absorpbing the cost of taking care of Will and Riley AND the cost of Rob's funeral.
This family's lives have been torn apart due to this tragedy. To make matters worse, the father is suspected as being the source of the injury. These people, my family, needs your help. Anything you can donate will help to cover the cost of the funeral which currently ranges around $10,000.00 in addition to the bills that Bethany is going to be behind. Please help.
