Help Fernando with Banish the Black Dog Charity Ride 2019
Dear All,
As you know the Townsville Floods have been an unprecedented and what is now said to be a "1 in 1000 year" event!
Thousands of people displaced, without power and their homes gutted, and destroyed from rising flood waters, of the Ross River.
People have lost their cars, their furniture, clothes, belongings, food, and even lives, with the sad and tragic loss of two men that were found drowned.
However, even though most of us survived this awful natural disaster, my thoughts and prayers are with what is now to come: There will be difficult insurance claims, living expenses, new goods needed, cleaning and not to mention the overall mental well being of all of us.
Please help me raise funds for the Banish The Black Dog Charity Ride 2019 (http://banishtheblackdog.org.au/), which aims to raise education, research and awareness of mental diseases, depression, anxiety and suicide.
However, now with this natural flood disaster, I am extending my plead to you, to dig a little deeper and donate to help BDBD team helping people suffering mentally.
Of course, there will be other charities working on the ground, such as the Red Cross, the Salvos, and the St Paul Society, which will also have their own campaigns to help those most hurt and affected by these floods.
My campaign is aimed at raising $700 (AUD).
