To play professional golf you have to pay just to go to work. The job also requires lots of travel which comes with expenses. These expenses include entry fees, flights, hotels, rental cars, food and gas.
Playing professional golf and competing at the highest level is hard enough and though managing all of your travel arrangements is part of the job, the cost associated with getting in the field can be quite exhausting especially doing it all alone on a fixed income.
