I, along with my two brothers am creating this fundraiser for our loving parents, Jeanne and Danny Negrete, who lost their home and everything on the property to the Creek Fire. The home, with nearly 40 years in the making, was uninsured at the time...

One of the hardest parts is seeing everyone go back to their home as evacuations are lifted, but they don't have their home to go back to.
My mother drew plans for the custom home, that was built mostly with her and my fathers own hands. It took them nearly 40 years to build. It took a wildfire only moments to destroy everything. There is much work ahead of them, and we will do as much as we can to help, with everything we have.
I know they would never ask for anything of anyone, especially funds, even though there is a multitude of costs and work ahead, involving demo/cleanup, dead trees, and not to mention rebuilding costs. They may never get back to where they were, but we hope to see them have some help to clean things up, and possibly be able to have something rebuilt..
Here is another pile of rubble, including some of the stored items that were not even unpacked into the home yet..
Mom and dad, you have always been there for us kids, giving everything you could when we needed it. Over the years you've taught us, with caring and compassionate hearts, a desire to help others. We would not be where we are now, or have what we have without your endless love and willingness to always give! Please accept now, the offerings from those who desire to help you during this time.
When talking about the devastation of loosing her home, my mother replied with this quote, "I cannot go back and make a brand new start, but I can start from now and make a brand new end."
