Total Loss Home Fire
Donation protected
This is for a friend who lost almost everthing in a New Year's weekend fire. Fortunately she and her two dogs were able to make it out of the house 3:30 in the morning into the frigid night.
She's retired and on a fixed income. I'm hoping that we can provide her with a little cash to buy some clothes, dog food, and other essentials until (hopefully) insurance money arrives and replaces those things that can be replaced. Of course in cases like this, it's the things that can never be replaced that will be missed the most.
Most important to her I believe, will be the sentiment behind the donations. Knowing that generosity and kindness exists and others took the time to help out a complete stranger in her time of need will infuse her with hope to get through this and look to the future.
Thank you.
