Tor Kilby's Medical Relief Fund

On the night of January 24th, my brother, Tor Kilby, suffered a major seizure at his house. The only warning he had were some muscle spasms in his hand for a few days prior but really thought nothing of it.  With quick thinking from his wife, he was taken to the nearest hospital by ambulance where, after a CT Scan, doctors discovered a mass on his brain.  He was then transferred to a larger hospital in Sacramento, Mercy General, where he was given an MRI and the neurologist found the 2x3cm tumor the previous CT scan noticed.  As I type this, it has been about 24 hours since the seizure, and my brother is scheduled for surgery tomorrow, January 26, to remove the tumor. As of now, the neuro surgeon is a little worried by what he saw, however, is giving Tor a very good prognosis and thinks they will be able to remove the whole tumor. At that point, they will biopsy it, and go from there. My brother, his wife, and their 6 month old daughter, have a long few months ahead of them.  In the best case scenario, Tor will not be able to work for a few weeks and therefore, they will not be generating any income for his family. I'm setting this up so that we can all pull together and try to raise some money so that we can take the worry of paying bills, groceries, etc off of their plate.  They have so much to deal with right now, hopefully we can at least alleviate some of the stress.
