HRT for trans women with no parental support
Donation protected
Trans healthcare in the UK is a mess to put it simply.
The NHS has wait times up to 6 years for hormones
and up to 1 year to see a NHS gender clinic.
So, I don't know what to do as I need HRT(hormone replacement therapy) as soon as I can because my gender dysphoria is overwhelming and makes my life debilitating. Futher issues is that due to the pandmeic the wait lists have grown even longer and I'm not sure when I'd be able to be seen
However, The main issue is that my parents aren't supportive. They are are cultural factors that make the idea of being trans unacceptable in my culture. My mum is especially transphobic. This, means that I have no access to funds outside of my own.
I have been looking for work but due to the pandmeic, There is little going and I need to focus on my school so I can move out for university. So I can be myself and not hide myself.
I have looked at the private gender clinic called GenderGP. The website has information about it. The costs vary but I will need an assessment blood tests, some form of estrogen. it all ads up......
This amount should be enough for one year.
It would be amazing if you could donate any amount of money to help or even a share.
I have no real life support beyond one school teacher.
