On 5/29/24 Tony’s experienced an electrical fire that came from our engine. We are fortunate to be safe and all our major cooking equipment was not damaged during the fire. However, when we reached out to our local insurance agent we were informed for the first time that they no longer insure food trucks and as of 5/9/24 our policy had been canceled. Having not received notice about this prior we are faced with large unexpected expenses to fix our truck as fast as possible to get our business up and running again. We have a small savings that will cover some of our repairs, but it will not cover all of it. We are reaching out to our local community for help with the remaining costs for parts and to help replace our lost inventory, such as food that was damaged from smoke and debris.
