Let's Help Our Friends, Tony & Em!

Hey Friends and Family,
Tony and I wanted to keep everyone in the loop on some recent developments in our lives. On Friday, January 19th around 4:00pm Tony had an aneurysm burst in the anterior, cerebral part of his brain, and suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage. 

 On Saturday, Tony had a surgical procedure called coiling to address the aneurysm.

Surgery went well, and Tony is now on the road to recovery. Our doctors at Sanford have told us that he will be in the hospital for a minimum of two to three weeks to keep a close eye on his recovery in the critical care unit. Any complications that could arise will most likely happen within the next few days; so they are monitoring him very closely.  

The reason we are sharing this with you all is two-fold.

1.    We want to keep everyone we love and care about updated on his progress and a hopefully quick recovery!

2.    Also, with any medical emergency, comes a huge financial strain. 

a.    The doctors have said that he will be very weak in the upcoming months and won't be able to  do much physical work.

b.    As many of you know, Tony is self-employed, which unfortunately means no PTO, Sick Leave, or Short Term Disability Pay.

It's times like these that support from friends and family makes an enormous difference. Our love, care and joy for one another is truly what life is all about. Please consider donating even just $5, and help us avoid overwhelming amounts of debt for our future life together.
