Tony Bonning Epic Journey on behalf of The 3Rs

Tax deductible
Best-selling author, storyteller and musician, Tony Bonning is to undertake a 1000km ride from the Mull of Galloway to Dunnet Head in Caithness to raise funds for 3Rs Horse Rescue. The journey, which is expected to take over two months, will visit sites associated with the Water Kelpie, a horse-like demon from Scottish Folklore. Tony who has been collecting Kelpie tales for the past forty years, intends to produce two books on the creature: one of Kelpie Tales and the other on the origins of the beast and other Scottish Folklore beings. The journey will also be filmed, and an occasional journal will appear on his Facebook page and other social media. The journey begins on May 28th and is hoped to be complete by Tony’s 74th birthday on August 7th.
