Thanks for visiting the donation page. This year to change it up a bit, and having lost my rescue lab of 14 years old. I decided instead of doing a toy drive, I wanted to run a fundraiser in Samuel's Honor. Back in college, I use to foster dogs for multiple dogs rescue. After fostering around 10 dogs, I was given Sam to foster. He was a very neglected 8 year old lab that was left in a room for the majority of his life. He basically had no life left in him. After months of getting Samuel back on his feet, we formed a bond that I never formed with any other rescue dog. I decided I wanted to adopt him. However, it was too late and another family already signed adoption papers for him. Obviously, I was heart broken but told myself if we were meant to be together he would come back into my life. Three months later, the family sent him back because he wasn't getting along with one of their daughters (makes sense now). The rest was history! With that being said, the rescue that I have decided to start a campaign for is, Labadore Retrievers Rescue, Inc. They rescue dogs from the south from very high kill shelters, who would basically get euthanized if it was not for their help. All these funds will help to offset veterinary expenses, boarding fees and transportation costs. The rescue only relies on donations to survive.
