Tonka's Salvation

Tonka is a 6 year-old Boston Terrier.  My "Wingman," and my best friend tried to save me, my wife, and my daughter from a scared and rampaging pitbull.  The mauling he received was both terrifying, and heartbreaking at the same time.  He has been "saving" me for years as the only being who calmed and rescued me from bouts of PTSD (from my military service), and now has sacrificed himself to save me from an impending attack.
  As he was being treated for his wounds, his vet noted the tell-tale signs of both testicular and cherry-eye cancers.  I would die to save my wingman's life, and his prognosis is good, if he can receive the life-saving surgeries he needs. 
  He will need the two surgeries to remove the cancerous lesions within the next month, and then process the tissue to determine whether or not he will need chemotherapy after his surgeries.  The only reason we have to wait that long, is because his vet (Dr. Danielle Robert) feels that it would be safer to allow him to recover a bit from his mauling.  Please help me save the animal who has been my salvation for so many years.  I would be forever grateful to anyone who keeps us in their prayers, or who can further open their hearts to financially assist his treatment and recovery.
