Tom's Medical Fund

Hello there, my name is Lydia. I am creating this gofundme for my father, Tom Woodruff. He is the most kind-hearted, and inspiring individual. If you’ve met him, you won’t forget him. He has been teaching both children and adults how to draw in his school programs for the last thirty years!  He has given so much back to community, and and has touched the lives of thousands of people. Just recently he has encountered some medical issues that has limited his ability to do his school programs, at least for now.  He needs some help to continue to do what he loves, and live a long and healthy life, and I know that he would never ask for help, so I'm going do it for him! (;  

He was feeling very lightheaded the other day so we took him to the hospital. We found out that his heart was pumping extremely fast, but his blood pressure was really low. The doctor tried to balance the levels out, but said that he will definitely need open-heart surgery very soon. When I was told this, my heart dropped. My dad, being the optimistic person he is, said, “Gosh, you’re going to have a hard time keeping up with me when I have a full heart beat! 

That’s where this GoFundMe comes in! My dad doesn’t have the best insurance, and will also have to cancel some of his school programs over the next few months, so any form of donation from this time to June would help out immensly. Every penny counts! It will help to pay his medical expenses, and bills until he is up and on his feet again. The doctors say it will take around three months to heal up, and then he'll be good as new! Even if you don’t donate, please just send him some love and good energy, maybe a prayer or two.
