Tom's Medical Expense FUNd

I was recently hospitalized, having received a staph infection after I went in for what would have typically been an out patient procedure.  After ten days at St Charles Hospital, receiving intravenous antibiotics every four hours, I'm was shipped back home. However, infectious decease control demands seven more weeks of IV doses every eight hours to ensure eradication beyond a doubt. I am home bound for the next seven weeks with nurses visiting every three days to clean and change dressings for the PICC now residing in my right shoulder. I was taught to do all IV drips myself. 

My current needs are for the cost of the seven weeks of antibiotic treatments which total $3000. And then there's the undetermined expense of ten days in the hospital, adding to that, the financial strain of being out of work for two months.
