Tom's story icu unit tunbridge wells hospital
Donation protected
we have decided to set this gofund me page up to raise money for our local icu unit that thankfully saved one of our close friends lives
toms story: just after Christmas our friend tom jenner fell ill testing positive for coronavirus, tom spent just under a week in bed but unfortunately on the 3rd of January 2021 tom was found by family member in a unresponsive condition, tom was admitted to hospital where he was taken straight to the icu unit in tunbridge wells hospital he was put onto oxygen but this just wasn't enough tom was still deteriorating.
The icu unit decided the best chance for tom was to be placed on a ventilator after nine days of just being told his is stable we finally got a call to confirm tom had been woken and was responding by nodding his head best news yet!
tom spent a further few days in the icu unit where the staff continously kept toms family upto date gave tom some well needed company and made sure all tom's needs where met in a professional manner.
Tom his family and close friends cannot thank the icu unit enough, because of there hard work and dedication he is on the road to recovery.
Coronavirus is real and without the people working at the icu unit we still have alot of people with us tom being one of them.
So a massive thanks to our local icu unit, keep up the hard work and to those that have taken the time to read toms story please share and donate, every little helps
Many thanks
