TOMMY STATON MEDICAL EXPENSE ASSISTANCE

On August 25th Tommy Staton , my son was run down by a driver speeding in a 25 mph residential zone. Tommy has suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury and underwent emergency surgery to remove a portion of his skull to relieve pressure and stop bleeding on his brain. Tommy has had several setbacks which include 2 strokes, this has deepened the damage to his brain. Tommy did not wake up or open his eyes for 25 days.  Tommy suffered multiple broken bones and a crushed pelvis as well. He will need a lifetime of medical care. Tommy has now opened his eyes but his neurological status has not changed. His doctors are unsure if there will be any significant healing. Please keep Tommy and his family in your prayers.  We definitely believe in the power of prayer and we need one of Gods miracles to touch Tommy.  Our expenses are rising and we are trying to bring his brother home. If we are able to move Tommy into a long term healthcare facility he will spend the remainder of his life there. Tommy was the glue that bound this family together. His never ending smiles and energy for life is contagious. He loved his parents and siblings. He loves his nieces, nephews and godson beyond belief!  He loved his job and all his co workers as well. He worked hard, played hard and loved to go fishing!  We miss him terribly and will continue to pray for him always.
