As many of you know on the 23/12/19 our hearts shattered into pieces, our gorgeous blue eyed boy Tommy Kenneth Langdown closed his eyes for one final time.
Tommy has touched the hearts of so many over the last 5 years, for a boy who was non verbal his eyes spoke everything he needed them too, they lit up a room when he was happy, and content and he could certainly use them to let you know he wasn’t impressed.
Over the last 5 years Tommys family’s life have revolved around giving him the best care they possibly could, and there’s no doubt about the fact that he knew just how much he was loved.
There’s never a ‘good time’ to loose somebody you love unconditionally, but Christmas time is the most heart wrenching. His mammy and daddy have spent the last 4 weeks away from his brother and sister, a time which should be spent full of Christmas excitement and family memories.. they’ve never left Tommy’s side and I couldn’t be prouder of them for the way they have handled things. Tonight before Tommy closed his eyes I made him a promise to always always look after all 4 of them.
I have set this page up to try and take some of the financial burden away from them-
funeral costs to give Tommy the send off he deserves, the affect the hospital stay has had on the whole family, time off work, maybe a day out for Tommys brother & sister.
