Tommy Conrad

UPDATE: The outpouring of support from family, friends, acquaintances, and total strangers has been so unbelievable. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to all who donated. This means more than you can can imagine to Tommy's family and they are greatly appreciative.

On behalf of VA-145 we grieve of over the tragic loss of our shipmate Tim Conrad's son Tommy. On October 25th, Tommy, the manager of Just-In-Time Recreation, put his life in harm’s way to charge the gunman and save the children who were there. He died a hero. Tommy was a serious person who was devoted to his job, his game and his young daughter, Caroline. He served in the Army, including tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, and on the night of the shooting his instincts kicked in and he exemplified service before self.

Tommy leaves behind his daughter Caroline and father Tim. We hope that you will contribute to help with funeral expenses and care for his daughter
