Tom Wagner needs our help!

My father-in-law, Tom Wagner, is truly one of the nicest, most loving guys that I've ever met. For as long as I've known him and Judy, they are always helping others. This is why I wanted to create this, so I could do something to help him. On July 30th, Tom fell off a stepladder while painting. The initial ER visit showed a normal CT scan of his head but a torn rotator cuff. As usual, Tom took this injury in stride and with good humor. Over the next couple months, he started having some problems with walking and buttoning his shirts. Because he didn't want to bother anyone, he initially kept all these symptoms to himself and kept working hard. Once the family did learn of his symptoms, everyone, including the doctors, were mystified. Finally after worsening slurred speech, a second ER trip led to a repeat CT scan. This scan showed massive subdural bleeding on both sides of his brain from the fall. He was rushed to Deaconess Hospital where he underwent a double craniotomy. After the surgery, he had a grand mal seizure, a hemorrhagic stroke, and is now recovering from sepsis. Tom has a long recovery with many months of hospitalization still ahead of him. After spending weeks in the ICU, they are trying to get him well enough to be able to transfer to a neuro rehab. His medical bills will be Massive. Any financial contribution would be greatly appreciated to help offset this burden. I realize that not everyone is able to contribute financially, so any prayers that you could offer for Tom's recovery are just as important! I hope Tom can get well enough one day to be annoyed at me for creating this with his humble nature, but for now, I have to do something for the guy, who has helped me out so many times.
