Tom Schultz's Medical Bills

Hi, this is Kris Schultz. Tom Schultz's daughter. I'm starting up this Go Fund Me to ask for help in paying the exorbitant amount that the hospital bills have come to and the cost of the emergency medical flight to get my dad home.

As I was making this Go Fund Me this morning, I started out to ask for help with getting my dad home to be treated here, and so we could say our goodbyes if it came to that. In the middle of creating it, my mom called to let me know that dad passed this morning due to complications with his Pulmonary Fibrosis and what has transpired this week.

This has now turned into a Go Fund Me to ask for help for my mom Jean Schultz, Tom Schultz's wife.

She is still in the Dominican Republic currently and is required to pay the $15,000 hospital bill before they will release his body to come back to the states, along with the $50,000 for the medical flight since it was already set up before he passed. My brother Mike is flying down there tonight to be with her and help her make any decisions that need to be made.

With dad being an American in a foreign country, as you can imagine, there are a lot of expenses, red tape and complications that are going along with this.

Even after we can get them home, she will still need help paying this all off.

I feel awful having to post this and ask for help, but as of right now, it is unfortunately necessary for me to do this, as my mom needs the help.
