UPDATE: On Wednesday, December 20, Tom passed away at noon at the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland.
Come join us in the Big Red Barn at Highland Meadows Golf Course, 6300 Highland Meadows Parkway, Windsor, Colorado, from 2:00pm-5:00pm on December 29th for a Celebration of Tom's life. This will be a family affair with music, food, and fun so please feel free to bring your families!

ORIGINAL: This is Tom Miller. Some of you know him as Hazel or Julia's dad, some may know him by his red work truck that says "Simple Home Solutions". I know him as a loving husband to Cindy, a doting father to both girls and a man that will give you the shirt off his back when you need it. Well...he is now in need of that shirt!
Tom has just been diagnosed with lung, liver and abdominal cancer. This comes as a surprise since he is never sick, eats organic foods, gets regular exercise and does not smoke. His only symptoms appeared last week when his doctor thought it was pneumonia.
Coping with this diagnosis is not easy. There are questions about the disease, many discussions about treatment options and creating a plan for the bills associated with the many doctors involved. Even with insurance, the bills are cumbersome. Being self employed, Tom does not have a policy that will pay his bills. He will not leave behind a legacy but instead, a huge debt for his family.
I ask that you help me to raise money for his medical bills so that his family can enjoy their time with Tom here out. Please pass this along to other friends that may be able to help. We have a warm and loving community. Please show that kindness.
