Tom Merkt Medical Fund

Tom Merkt was seriously injured in a cycling accident on August 29th when he was hit and briefly pinned by a truck in Jackson, WY at the corner of Snow King and Rodeo Drive.  He is currently in ICU at St. John's Medical Center. Tom's injuries are quite serious but he is expected to make a full recovery. He has a fractured wrist, 8 broken ribs, 2 fractures in his pelvis, a compression fracture in his spine, a slightly collapsed lunge, and a laceration on his liver. He feels very lucky to survive the accident and is in good spirits. All of Tom's friends  want to support him as much as possible during his recovery which is expected to take 8 weeks. Many people have asked how to contribute, and this fund has been established to help him meet expenses while he is out of work.  Thank you for your support!
