Tom Anschutz Family House Fire Relief

Our lifelong friend, Tom Anschutz (Mike's brother), sadly had a house fire this past Sunday evening and it looks to be a total loss. Thankfully he, his wife Heather, and their daughter Elaina were able to make it out safely, although Tom did suffer some first and second degree burns from running in and out of the house over ten times to save the animals they breed.
By the time the firefighters arrived and started blasting the front of the house with water, Tom had seemingly lost most of the skin on his feet from running in and out of the back of the home where the fire was most intense. He said it felt like he was being hit in the face with steam from the water coming out of the hoses.
He was taken to a local hospital, then airlifted to Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, PA, to their burn unit facilities. Luckily their RV was undamaged by the fire so they will have somewhere to live as they work through the insurance process.
If you know Mike and/or Tom, or have common friends from Greece/Cardinal Mooney HS class of 89, please consider posting this so his school friends will see it. I'm sure any donation will be more than appreciated, even though I know he would never ask for it. It’s going to be a long road back to normalcy, in an already abnormal time, especially with the Holidays approaching. Hopefully this will help the family get back to normal sooner than later, as they fight through the recovery and rebuilding process. If you can’t donate right now, please do share the link.
