Tom and Kimberly Potts Accident

On the 21st of August, Tom was in the backyard building part of an anniversary present to Kimberly, who was inside in the kitchen. By some crazy circumstance, the table saw got stuck and in the process of clearing it, Tom had his thumb, index and middle finger cut off, with his son and Kimberly watching the entire thing unfold. Fortunately, the doctors were able to save his middle finger but he has lost at least half of his thumb and index finger. Tom is a Saratoga Springs Police Officer, and a Captain in the Utah National Guard. Kim is a Real Estate agent that relies upon commissions. Obviously being a police officer, they have learned to count on overtime income as a large part of making ends meet. He will not be able to return to work for some time and for the foreseeable future will lose that income that they rely upon. That in conjunction with medical bills, they can surely use a little help. They are already in the process of selling their trailer to help overcome some of these upcoming costs and shortfalls.
