toilets for deprived school

 I am Diana, one of the founders of foundation "Climbing the right tree", a Dutch charity.
We support projects to improve the quality of education in West Africa with ICT.

A few weeks ago I visited one of the schools in our education program in the Gambia. Our whole team was deeply moved with what we found at the Darul Arkam school in Brikana. In one of the poorest neighborhoods of the city, and all 600 students come from poor families, 80 of them are orphans who come to school hungry. Teachers do not get salaries. The headmaster is housing 40 kids in his own house!

"Sorry, I cannot afford to have more than 40 orphans in my house, Diana, I wish I could host them all".

We decided that this school needs more help than just a computer room and teacher training, and we started to feed the orphan children at lunchtime. Our next step is a decent toilet building to safeguard the sanitary situation in the school.

Please help us to build new toilets for the students and their teachers.
