Funds are needed right away and will be used to purchase necessary materials and supplies for the Church addition, including plumbing and foundation, lumber, electrical, dry wall, paint, stucco, a septic tank and piping for the leach field. All labor and skills will be donated at no charge by Calvary Missions volunteers and by the Immanuel House of Prayers Church members and their families and friends. This is a wonderful opportunity to bless our Navajo Brothers and Sisters in Christ just a short distance from Albuquerque, and is an answer to the prayers of the Church. May God encourage you to be a part of this project financially. We have a volunteer contractor for the project, and construction is planned to start this month, October 2018. We hope to have the addition "dried in" before the winter weather arrives, and continue work inside over the winter.
Melissa and I will start the contribution, and if we have 15 families match our contribution, this phase of the project will be fully funded to meet our estimated budget. Any excess funds will go toward a second project at Immanuel House of Prayer (a swamp cooler to cool the Church Buliding in the summer months). Calvary Missions will have full access to funding and spending information to assure transparency and accountability.
