Christophers Haven- Together There Is Hope

We are two Nipmuc Regional High School seniors who have been working to help children and their families to cope with pediatric cancer. We started this as a voluntary school project for DECA during our junior year and have dedicated this project to our classmate Austin Quinn.  

Austin taught us about courage, friendship, and love. Without him, none of this would have been possible. We are also dedicating a page in the Nipmuc 2021 Yearbook to him so that he is able to graduate with his peers. 

We have been volunteering at different non-profits for pediatric cancer and helping them in any way possible. But we realize “it is not about me, it is about us” We call ourselves “Together There is Hope”. So far between monetary and in-kind donations, they have raised $15,000. This is just the beginning. Even though this is a voluntary school project, we have decided we want to continue working with local non-profits that support childhood cancer, until there is a cure. Our goal is to raise $30,000 by April of 2021. To contribute to this effort please visit gf.me/u/y9ft4h
