My sister saw a photo of this beautiful ball of joy sitting in a cage for weeks on end and fell in love at first sight. She knew Penny was waiting for her. It can be that simple-a photo connection. A few months ago, we went to play fetch in a grassy field where I decided to take some awesome model shots of my dog niece- and it hit me.

•• I would love to showcase shelter rescues in a positive light-a snapshot of what these animals would look like outside of cages and in the lives of family. I went online to look at dogs in my neck of the woods and saw sad eyes looking through bars that were blurry. I want to show happy adorable animals-bringing out their true personalities.

•• Each week, I contact local shelters and animal rescues to photograph their adoptable pets. I post their photo alongside a short bio and information on how to foster or adopt each animal.

After two months of taking photos for local Michigan animal shelters and helping promote their animals, I have realized that they just need more help. I am asking for our community to come together to raise funds to split between some of my core animal shelter friends: Safari Animal Rescue, Home Furever Animal Rescue, Almost Home Animal Rescue and Compass Dog Rescue. 

By the end of this campaign (my birthday), the money will be split equally between these shelters to help purchase food, toys, help with vet bills, building rent, cleaning supplies and anything else that they are need of. 

Please help me and our local animal community raise as much as we can to help out the amazing furball and furball rescuers.
